WIDE (IGTN Europe)  advocates for the inclusion of gender analyses in the policies and organizations of international trade policy makers in order to increase understanding of the integral policy coherence between development and trade and reduce the negative repercussions of the consolidation of the EU as a single market trading bloc on women. 

WIDE (IGTN Europe) collaborates with Southern partners in order to eliminate the negative effects of trade on development and highlight the flaws within the WTO, EU bilateral agreements, and the Cotonou Agreement and to advance gender-sensitive, people-centered policies in the North and South.
